Pondering paths that vanished in the night

Here I am, finding my way, through the shadows, into day
Every step, a story told, of a spirit, brave and bold
Lost and found, on this journey I unwind
Seeking the parts of me I've yet to find

Reflections stare back, in the mirror’s gaze
Each one a facet of my yesterdays
Chasing the Sun, as it dips below the sky
With every twilight, a new resolve to try

In the silence, hear my plea
Breaking free, I long to be
